Shooting Schedule
Official Shooting Schedule!
This is a post about the shooting schedule I used last weekend to film! It was quite tight because I wanted to film everything but I managed to film almost all my footage, for which I am very proud and relieved! Anyway, here is how I organised it and when I want to film the last details :)
Hope you enjoy it,
xx Natalia
Saturday Filming:
At 17:15, I picked up María, my actress, and brought her to my house, where we chose her outfit from ideas we had discussed before over the phone.
At about 18:20, we went to Álex's house; it was still a bit light outside and, taking advantage of the golden hour, we went outside to take some pictures in the park nearby.
At about 19:10, we went back to his house. It was already dark so I investigated the best lighting using my led ring lamp and his lights which could be regulated to create the ambient atmosphere.
After taking the footage, using the tripod to smoothly move the camera as well as trying various shots (playing with close-ups and medium-log shots), I decided to record the Actors' Profile as well.
Sunday Filming:
At 10:00 we went to pick up María and brought her home, where we chose her second outfit (like the previous day) from clothes she had brought after we had discussed the type of look I needed. We then filmed the morning routine scene at my house, which took some time to get the perfect shots.
At about 11:55, we left and drove to the second location we had chosen for the packing and leaving the scene. We decided what room would be best to film this scene and proceeded to tidy up the room and place the props (mostly boxes) in the best place to create the atmosphere.
We filmed the second scene various times as it was more difficult due to the dialogue. I filmed the same scene in different ways, using the tripod that allowed for smooth movement as well as shots that were closer to the actresses to then hopefully edit them and have more interesting shots.
At about 14:00 we left and drove back home. In both car rides, I took the time to film the test shots with María for the final scene that I have to film- the car-ride scene. We arrived home at about 14:30, where we filmed the last scene, with the flashbacks, that we had not had the time to film that morning.
Next Steps:
The next thing I have to do regarding filming is just film the Car Ride Scene, but then I have to record the voiceover and edit everything! I have about 1 month until my final deadline, so let's see how everything goes!
